Harley-Davidson Softail description

After 40 years, there aren't too many arguments that I win anymore; and since I've been promising her a spot in the garage forever, (and she didn't give me a hard time about buying the Maserati)  this time she made me make a deal with her.  If the $40,000.00 Bike along with the $5,000.00 in extras (that I'm including with the Bike) get listed at $16,750 with an even lower "make offer" price, and it doesn't sell, I will make room in one of the sheds for everything (not an easy feat).  And at the lowest acceptable "make offer" price (which is about 1/3 the cost of everything), the price is so inexpensive, that even a Dealer could make a profit by flipping everything.

Harley Davidson Show Quality 2006 Heritage Softail Classic with ALL the extras.

(Call my cell for any particulars:  631-664-8800)

Comes with 10 computer pages listing all 114 items added to The Bike that were installed by Dealer.

All Top Shelf - Like V&H Pipes, Heated Handgrips, Electronic Fuel Gauge, Chrome Air Horns and 110 other items.

Only 9,509 pampered miles.  Original Owner.  Never down.  Have all bills, records and clean Title.

Always kept in Heated Garage under Bike Cover (included) under Cocoon Cover (included).

Basic Cost was $34,992.95 with over $12,000.00  in accessories, all installed by the Dealer.

From the Dealer, it went directly to Michael "Angelo" Calderone at Cycledelics for a Custom Yellow and White Pearl Paint Job with Pinstriping (over $3,200.00).

Stage II kit installed by Dealer at 7,209 miles (over $2,500.00).  I am not into speed (just the opposite) but I wanted to be safer at the red lights when that truck was behind me and my significant other was riding with me on the back.  Now, the bike can put a lot more distance between you and them, a lot faster, without trying.

So the basic cost of the Bike is over $40,000.00

This doesn't include the (over $5,000.00) in additional items that come with the Bike that are listed below.

This year, (just 84 miles ago) at 9,425 miles,  I had the complete 10,000 mile service done by Miracle Mile Harley Davidson.  While there, I put an additional (over $1,000.00) in the Bike for a new set of Whitewall Tires and a New Battery.

Also Included in excellent condition with the bike is the following:  1)  A Pitbull Hydraulic Jack (in photos).  2)  A 4'x8' Carry On Trailer, with tire rack and tie downs (in photos).  3)  5 Helmets for all moods (in photos, 4-his in large and 1-hers in medium), and 4) A Battery Trickle Charger.

Other (Never Used) Items Included:  1)  Original Passenger Backrest, 2)  Spare Windshield (still in box),  3) Duplicate Iron Cross Backrest (still in box), 4)  Custom Studded Passenger Seat, 5)  Saddle Bag Liners and 6)  Locking Gas Cap.

Thumbs up, pleasant words, or just head shakes with smiles, every time,
wherever you go, from ages 5 to 95 . . . . . . guaranteed.

Pay a $2,000.00 nonrefundable deposit within 48 hours and a Guaranteed Bank Check for the balance when picked up within 7 days from end of auction.

Buyer responsible for arranging and paying for pickup and/or shipping of all items.

Thu, 23 May 2013

Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) have teamed up to make the 90th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week even more historic through an effort to raise over $76,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire and set a new Guinness Worlds Record. Laconia Motorcycle Week attendees and New Hampshire residents will play a key role in this endeavor by purchasing tickets for a Community Appreciation Parade at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on the final Saturday of Bike Week, June 15th. Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle

Fri, 31 Jul 2009

I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl.  He’s amazingly talented and very driven.  Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson.  The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.

Harley-Davidson is acting quickly to address  potential safety issues by voluntarily recalling certain 2014 Touring motorcycles equipped with a hydraulic clutch system that may pose a safety issue for riders and/or passengers. The recalls include a Do Not Ride notice to owners and a Do Not Deliver notice to Harley-Davidson dealers until the motorcycle is fixed. “The safety of our customers is our highest priority,” said Tony Wilcox, Harley-Davidson General Manager of Motorcycle New Product Delivery.
