The V-rod Was created to compete with the changing demographic and upcoming changes that will ultimately come down reducing the volume of air cooled bikes.  The 1250 cc 60 degree V-twin pumps out 125 hp and 86ftlbs of torque.  The low slung riding position and wide powerband make this ride an excellent candidate for the rider that wants a bit more sport in their cruiser bike.  The V-twin is cooled by a large liquid cooling system allowing for liner performance in even the hottest conditions.  This bike is a personal favorite of mine and is one that is sure to fit as the dream ride for many cycle enthusiasts.     This Heritage Softail is a really nice bike has a vance an hines exhaust. Has 7999 miles which is low for a 2009 model.  There is a little ding in front of right fork tube about the size of a dime which looks like a rock jumped up from the road, there are no signs anywhere indicating that bike has been dropped or wrecked. The tires Are in decent shape the front tire is about 70% and the rear is 50%.  The motor is a 96cc with 6 speed transmission.  I would rate this bike a 8.5 out of 10 jus me being picky if your local come see it in person.  Ill get more pics if anyone needs them.  Please call me for more info this bike is listed locally an can sell at anytime.  615-498-0903  the price you see online is the price you pay no doc fees with me. The American Motorcyclist Association has bestowed a special recognition award to Zero Motorcycles and its Vice President of Marketing, Hall-of-Famer Scot Harden, for their work in attracting new riders and the positive impact they’ve delivered to mainstream media. Harden (pictured above from our recent Zero FX dirt riding review) and Zero were awarded the AMA Bessie Stringfield Award which recognizes individuals who have been instrumental in bringing emerging markets to motorcycling. The award is named after 2002 AMA Hall of Fame inductee Bessie Stringfield, the first African-American woman to ride solo across the United States and a civilian motorcycle dispatch rider for the army in World War II.

Erik Buell Racing (EBR) today announced its founding dealerships across the United States. The recruitment process began shortly after the American International Motorcycle Expo in Orlando, Florida, where the company took the wraps off the 1190RX production superbike. More than 60 dealers will be the first to carry the 1190RX.

The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

EditorsTroy Siahaan and Tom Roderick got a first-hand taste of ice racing last winter, and we got a real kick out of seeing racers Brad Baker, Jared Mees and Nichole Mees taking Harley-Davidson Street 750s onto ice during the Winter X Games.
