Mother of four and spouse of a 100% Retired Disabled Veteran of the (22years)US Army. We bought the Harley Davidson Motorcycle in hopes of my Husband could get out on the open road and clear his mind from time to time or whenever he desired. The motorcycle has become a liability we can no longer afford to pay for and my husband can't ride the bike due to his tbi & back condition does not permit him to ride. I have called Harley Davidson dealer in our area to do the buy back plan, but they all have their reasons for not buying the bike back. My husband is under Individual Unemployability with the VA for our benefits. This means he can not get a job due to his disabilities from his two purple from Operation Iraqi Freedom II in Baghdad.We have also tried to raise funds to payoff and donate the bike to charity that helps other vets receive homes. Outside of the lil scratch (in picture above)on pipe the bike is like new. thanks for looking |

Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
