2012 Harley-Davidson Softail DELUXE. Custom built prior to purchase by local dealer with all modifications warranted. Ride Wright wheels, 21 front, 16 rear, with matching rotors and pulley. Burly brand 14 apes with 1.5 risers. Shotgun air shocks. Woods 777 cam, air kit, ported heads, Samson true dual exhaust, big city thunder baffles. Other extras...chrome front end, chrome hand controls, grips, braided cables, footpegs, dash cover, visor bezels, laydown license plate bracket, highway bar/pegs, LePera bare bones seat with passenger pillion. Also have LePera 2-up touring seat and HD sissy bar/backrest. Many other chrome parts and covers not mentioned. All original stock parts have been stored and will go with the bike. Build sheet from local Harley dealer and dyno chart available upon request. This bike was purchased new a year ago and has been meticulously maintained and garaged. Detroit Police Department Restores 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead

The Detroit Police Department revealed a restored a 1937 Harley-Davidson Knucklehead police bike that was found during the move to its new headquarters. The 76-year-old police motorcycle was found disassembled at the old headquarters after several decades in storage. According to MLive, the police department attempted to restore the motorcycle in 1974 but never got around to completing it.

John Gibson had a vision 15 years ago to sell ice cream from a motorcycle sidecar, inspired while running as he listening to motivational guru, Tony Robins. After years of experimenting with different bikes and setups, including using the Russian made Ural (he once owned a Ural dealership), Gibson, finally settled on the Honda 750 Shadow and the Harley-Davidson 883 Sportster. The Cool Cycles Ice Cream Company is open for business, the headquarters are located in Tacoma, WA where they will start selling franchises within a 100 mile radius, the Los Angeles area will be next and Las Vegas to follow.

The feeling rings true today as it did 72 years ago, when Wallace Van Sandt, of Birmingham, Alabama, took delivery of his 1941 Harley-Davidson WLD Special Sport Solo, purchased new in 1940 for $365 (roughly $5800 in today’s money) by his father as a high school graduation gift. The WLD Special Sport Solo was a ringer in its day.
