Harley-Davidson Softail description

This trike is a custom creation made from a Kandi boomerang trike frame and body combined with a 2007 Harley Davidson 883cc engine. I'm a mechanical engineer and building these is a hobby that I take very seriously. It has 7300 miles on the engine and 500 miles on the body and frame. It's been custom painted candy red with black ghost flames and has new tires with new American racing rims, and it is fuel injected and runs like a champion and starts on the first time every time. The transmission is a hand clutch system on an arm shifter. Top speed is 85 mph with one person and 73 mph with two average sized people. It also has rubber floor mats, a cooling fan for the engine installed, new head lights and mirrors, the correct 2007 sportster gas tank, and a shatter proof windshield/roof that has been tented for sun blockage. It's a side by side seater with racing seats and a four point harness on each seat. The speedometer has been bought used from eBay and does not match the engine miles but I do have paperwork showing what I bought the engine at in 2013. This has not been a daily driver, and I've only ridden it to shows and around Baton Rouge. It would make a great head turner at Sturgis! I'm sellin it to buy a truck to pull my boat. So if you have a 4x4 truck at least 2010 model with rear seats I may be up to trading. Message me with any questions and to come take a test ride. Good luck bidding!

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
