We are selling a Highly Customized, 2012 1/2 Harley Softail Slim, This bike won the Willie G Davidson award in Sturgis for "Best use of Genuine Harley Parts and Accessories" in 2012. The last picture in the ad shows the Black Bike as it was purchased. All other pictures are the actual bike, not a brochure. You will NEVER see another one like this!! I am rushing to get the ad done so I will be brief. The bike has a 103" motor with performance cams, dual exhaust, custom wheels, custom 2-up seat with Driver backrest(all alligator with orange stitching), all custom sheet metal and Custom Paint By Paragon Customs. The paint is White Magnolia Pearl and Sedona Orange with lots of custom touches. It runs a Memphis Shades Fairing which is painted to match of course. It is also fuel injected and has a 4" velocity Stack. It was featured in a local Calendar which I could provide a copy to the buyer. Lots of blacked out items with chrome accents. All I got for now. Elvis is so inextricably linked to Harleys that he's even become subject of an endlessly-circulating internet myth. You know, the one where a guy finds an old Harley for a few bucks, starts to restore it and discovers an 'Elvis' inscription under the seat.
More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges
Mon, 17 Oct 2022Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
New Harley-Davidson Sportster for India to Use 500cc V-Twin
Thu, 03 Jan 2013When Harley-Davidson first entered the Indian market, The Motor Company decided to import existing models as complete knockdown kits for final assembly in the burgeoning market. Considering the average motorcycle in India has a displacement smaller than 200cc, it was inevitable Harley-Davidson would eventually have to produce a small-displacement model rather than rely on its existing product line which currently lists the 883cc sportsters as its smallest bikes. Despite a denial last May by Harley-Davidson India’s Managing Director Anoop Prakash, it now appears Harley-Davidson is set to announce a new small-displacement model to be produced in India at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo next February.
