Harley-Davidson Softail description

 Front brake WAVE full floating disc.  front brake pads ebc racing.  Stock front brake was seriously lacking stopping power.  Front suspension springs were upgraded from stock. (stock) were way too soft. Many many many bolts were changed from the zinc allen head bolts to Diamond Engineering polished stainless steel fasteners. They are very expensive 190000 psi 12 point bolts. 20% stronger than grade 8.  rear pillon seat upgraded from stock.  Air filter housing and filter upgraded to screamin eagle.  brake pedal, shifter, shifter linkage, passenger foot pegs and air filter cover carry the same aluminum alloy theme.  headlight flicker switch located on handlebar.   Front brake changed over to dot 5 silicone fluid when stainless braided front brake line installed.  Hooded headlight shroud . NEW AGM BATTERY. performance screamin eagle spark plugs & wires.
Engine performance is very strong and the engine HAS NOT been tuned. Stock exhaust is plenty loud enough.  ORIGINAL OWNER.  CALL

In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.
