Harley-Davidson Softail description

I have to say I owned many new Harley's but this  one has been my favorite. I have had many FLH's but started riding FLS's again in 2011. The FLH's where too top heavy for me as I got older so the fat low was perfect for me in seat height and, if I ever wanted to travel again, I cold go the distance and still be comfortable.

Over 30 years of riding and I have got call it quits, grandchildren ect..you know the routine.

For me I loved, the brushed aluminum look with the gloss black, and kept the chrome to a minimum. I have all the stock parts if you wish to return it to original, total adult driven.

What I like about the detachable features,  was that  you can change the look to how you wanted  to ride that day.

Nobody but me has rode this bike, expect the dealer.

Stored in the winter @my dealership, which I'd typically drop a thousand or two during the winter months on it. Over 23K after all is added up. That's what I wanted on it,  so I got it!

However, I am riding less and less and since I refuse to buy a trike, I guess I'm moving on, like us all someday, so somebody else can enjoy this wonderful machine.

Original owner, LOW MILES, all maintenance and receipts for accessories and are included with the stock parts.

Accessories include detachable amber 18" windshield, MM11 Long Straight pipes(have original pipes) with Screa Super Tuner, 1584 Stage 1 Kit,(have original EFI Kit) Oil cooler, Halogen Light Kit mounted on Gloss Black Crash Bar, Hard Bags with Locks, detachable rear passenger set set-up with seat rack.

Gloss black axle covers, Custom Painted horn cover(have the original), LED taillight, (have the original), HD Handle bar bag, heat shields and new handlebar grips.

Personalize it the way you want to..this is what I liked, or if you like it like I put it together than it's paid for. Ride with no windshield and solo, or switch to the  passenger seat with back rest, put the windshield on and the back rack and run it cross country.

Check out on my last bike I sold and how happy he's been with it

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.

A couple of weeks ago I suggested that if you havent attended a flat track, aka dirt track, race, youre missing some of the best racing in the motorcycle world. That still holds true, but Ive got another form youre probably not seeing. Drag racing!
