Harley-Davidson Softail description

Great Bike! Besides HD service mechanics I am the only rider of this bike! Never dropped! Garage kept. It is like new! Very CLEAN!!!  LOW! LOW! Mileage!!

The Softail Deluxe combines nostalgic styling cues like a tombstone tail light, deep-skirted seat and wide white wall tires, with ergonomics that make this an old-school cruiser that’s easy to handle. The Softail rear suspension mimics the clean lines of a vintage hardtail frame but offers the comfort of a modern suspension that is hidden under the chassis. The rigid powertrain allows tight packaging of the engine and frame and creates a solid connection between the rider and the power that moves the motorcycle.

Lots of  added HD parts.
1.) Boss Saddle Bags. Matching the Deluxe leather seat patterns.. Paid $1500.00! They are removable and come with locks. Larger than the HD bags...
2.) HD Wind Shield (removable).
3.) HD matching Deluxe leather wind shield pouch.
4.) HD leather tank pouch.
5.) HD chrome engine gard.
6.) Sceaming Eagle Heavy Breather Intake (Stage 1 upgraded software downdload).
7.) Screaming Eagle Slip-On Exhaust.
8.) Screaming Eagle Spark Plug Wires.
9.) HD removable Sissy Bar and Kit..
Lots more!

We wrote about the recall last week, after campaigns were initiated in Canada and Australia to address a problem with the fuel sensors not properly reading the correct volume of fuel. We now know the problem is caused by the angle of the fuel tank.
