This bike is in Excellent condition and has been in climate control garage since new. I am the second owner and have owned it since September of 2010. When I purchased the bike it had 1477 miles on it It has several upgrades such as Harley Davidson foot boards, lots of chrome trim all over bike, delux grips etc., battery tender (for keeping charge on battery), pipes. You are certainly welcome to inspect the bike or have someone else do it for you if you are not local. If you cannot pay for this please do not purchase. If you are the winner of this bike and the condition is not as described you certainly do not have to buy it. It can be shipped to your front door and I am willing to oversee the pickup. New Screamin’ Eagle Drag Racing Championship Series for 2013
Mon, 06 Aug 2012The NHRA today announced the formation of the Screamin’ Eagle Championship Motorcycle Series for 2013. The new series will feature five classes: Top Fuel, Pro Gas, Draggin’ Bagger, Street Pro and Hot Street. The 10-race series will compete at divisional events as part of the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, in addition to the Sportsman ET Motorcycle class that currently competes at various NHRA divisional events.
Shelved Harley-Davidson Penster Tilting Trike Prototypes Revealed
Thu, 04 Aug 2011The Harley-Davidson Museum has pulled the covers off discarded prototypes of a leaning three-wheeled motorcycle developed by The Motor Company. Harley-Davidson commissioned automobile hot rodding legend John Buttera to build the original prototype (pictured above) in 1998. Codenamed the “Penster”, the Trike looks like it could have been an earlier version of the Can-Am Spyder, but it had a tilting front end similar to the Piaggio MP3.
