Harley-Davidson Softail description

NO RESERVE!!!!NO RESERVE!!!!NO RESERVE!!!!NO RESERVE!!!!

For sale is a USED 2009 HARLEY DAVIDSON CROSSBONES Softail Customized. I am the second owner of the bike and I am looking to sell it because I want to move into a larger touring bike. The bike has only 1280 miles and does not have one mechanical issue with it. I had the bike totally customized in the spring of 2012 and its still is in perfect condition. This bike is truly a head turner. Garage kept. I get compliments all the time wherever I go. There is a photo of what the bike looked like before the modification so you can compare then to now. Below is a list of modifications I made to the bike:

-Custom Paint Job on Front and Rear Fenders as well as the gas tank. The colors are Candy Tangerine (Orange) with light metal Flake and a Gloss Black stripe running down the center of the bike without metal flake.
-Roland Sands "Tracker Rear Fender Kit"
-Roland Sands "Vintage Solo Seat"
-Roland Sands "Turbine Air Cleaner- Black OPS"
-Roland Sands "Tracker Tailight & Tag Bracket"
-Battistinis "C-Thru Black Forward Controls round hole contrast cut" and matching hand grips
-Battistinis "C-Thru Black Shifter Rod" (matches forward controls and hand grips)
-Vance and Hines Big Radius 2-into-2 black exhaust
-Wild 1 Chubby Springer Knuckle Handle bars
-HD contrast cut brake and clutch lever
-Had front and rear blinkers removed
-Headlight relocator mounting bracket.
-THE FRONT AND REAR TURN SIGNALS HAVE BEEN REMOVED TO CLEAN UP THE LOOK OF THE BIKE. There is risk involved when riding a motorcycle without turn signals. Buyer assumes all responsibility in regards to safety when purchasing the bike.

There is a slight fade in the Candy color part of the gas tank behind the gas cap. It is so slight that my camera could not capture it. It is very hard to notice unless it was brought to your attention. There is not one scratch in the entire paint job. I believe that fade came right out of the paint shop. It took me some time to notice it because you need to be in the right light to see it.  I have to mention this because I do not want to leave anything out.

Please contact me for any questions.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements and cost. Non-refundable deposits of $200 must be made within 48 hours upon conclusion of the auction using Paypal.

Payment options:
-Wire payment to my bank
-Certified Bank Check
-Personal Check

ALL CHECKS MUST CLEAR WITH MY BANK BEFORE I RELEASE THE BIKE. CHECKS USUALLY TAKE 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS TO CLEAR.

Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Mopar to Sponsor Canadian Superbike Championship

Mon, 12 Dec 2011

Chrysler’s parts and accessories brand Mopar has signed on to be the title sponsor for the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship. Mopar replaces Parts Canada which recently ended a 22-year partnership with CSBK over controversial comments made by the series organizer on an Internet forum. The seven-round CSBK series includes separate pro and amateur Superbike and Sportbike classes, as well as a Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup and a new spec series for young riders featuring the Honda CBR250R.
