Harley-Davidson Softail description

-Beautiful 2009 screamin eagle springer. Bike can be ridden as a cruiser or with a quick seat change and added windshield it can be ridden comfortably for many miles. Has everything you would expect with a CVO Harley. In great condition except for  a small amount of rust in the brushed flame of the front fender that is under the clear coat. Right at the front of the fender. (See Picture) Bike is still being ridden so mileage may change slightly.

-I am the original owner. Bike was purchased at Chunky River HD in Meridian, MS June of 09.

 I have the following add-ons:
-Custom Dyno tune using a PCV.
-Extended reach forward controls.
-Vance and Hines 2in2  Big Radius Pipes
-HD windshield brackets, windshield and the glass has been changed to the tall clearview shield.
-HD Tail light relocation kit, sissy bar with luggage rack. All quick Detach.
-Sundowner seat with added heat and stock seat of course.
-Shop manuals. I have the softail manual, CVO springer supplement, and the parts list.

Bonhams To Auction Wayne Pierce Family Collection Of Motorcycles Jan. 9, 2014, In Las Vegas

On January 9, 2014, during the fourth annual Las Vegas Sale of motorcycles at Bally’s Hotel and Casino, Bonhams, the world’s largest auction house for cars, motorcycles and memorabilia, will be auctioning off over 50 motorcycles from the extensive Wayne Pierce family museum collection, all offered at no reserve. Among the machines is a first-year Harley-Davidson Sportster believed to be the 10th XL883 produced in 1957, a 1933 Harley VLE police bike that saw actual duty on the streets of Chicago before being cast in the 1987 Kevin Costner gangster movie, “The Untouchables,” and an authentic and unrestored 1947 Harley Knucklehead wearing period aftermarket accessories. Wayne “Pappy” Pierce started his Harley-Davidson dealership in 1957, run out of a one-room tin shed in DeKalb, Illinois.

Harley-Davidson Delivers Strong Growth For Fourth Quarter And For Full Year

Harley-Davidson released today its fourth quarter financial statements, revealing the company’s fourth-quarter income from continuing operations was $70.6 million on consolidated revenue of $1.17 billion, compared to 2011 income from continuing operations of $54.6 million on consolidated revenue of $1.18 billion. Fourth-quarter 2012 earnings per share were $0.31, up 29.2% compared to EPS of $0.24 in the year-ago quarter. For the full year, Harley-Davidson income from continuing operations was $623.9 million on consolidated revenue of $5.58 billion, compared to full-year 2011 income from continuing operations of $548.1 million on consolidated revenue of $5.31 billion.
