2008 Harley-Davidson Softail DELUXE, 2008 Harley Davidson Softail Deluxe Custom. This bike has been well maintained and always garaged. I am selling because my wife is prego with twins. The bike was purchased from Orange County HD in Irvine, CA. It is registered, titled and insured in CA. I have a clean title. No liens. There are many extras on the bike. For starters the wheels were custom machined from my design. 21" front and 18" rear with new Metzlers. Mini apes with chrome hand controls. Chrome forks, rotors and pulley. Stainless steel cables. Screamin eagle intake. Stage 1 upgrade done by OC Harley. Vance and Hines exhaust. Danny Gray seat. The bike is an excellent combination of black and chrome. The majority of the miles were accrued before the custom remodel. I had taken 3 long road trips that averaged 2000 miles each. The engine runs very strong. Frequent oil changes. $22,500.00

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season
Fri, 12 Apr 2013AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
Harley-Davdison Museum Opens Tsunami Motorcycle Exhibit
Wed, 24 Oct 2012From Miyagi Prefecture in Japan to Graham Island in British Columbia, Canada, to Milwaukee, Wis., the motorcycle tossed across the Pacific Ocean by the 2011 Japanese tsunami has landed at the Harley-Davidson Museum. The 2004 Harley-Davidson Softail Night Train owned by earthquake and tsunami survivor Ikuo Yokoyama is now on display at the museum as a memorial to those affected by the March 2011 tsunami. The motorcycle will be preserved in the condition it was in when Canadian beachcomber Peter Mark found it inside a cargo box that washed up on Graham Island in May.
