Has thousands in upgrades, including a Stage 1 kit with Vance & Hines Double Barrel pipes, K&N air filter and Thundermax ECM. The Thundermax is amazing and very powerful. It learns and re-programs air, fuel & ignition as you ride. So any future upgrades such as cams or changing pipes will not require any re-programming by the dealer. It takes care of everything, or, you can plug it into your computer and customize any and all settings, including idle speed. Also has complete Custom Dynamics LED conversion including all turn signals and brake lights. Brake light is LED with run-turn-brake conversion and module that has a programmable strobe & flash patterns for high visibility when stopping. Upgraded HD speedometer with tachometer, gear indicator, and customizable multi-color led back lighting. Complete engine, transmission, & primary chrome screw kits, plus chrome clutch and brake levers and switch housings. Many more upgrades but can't list them all here. In the week since Harley-Davidson announced Project LiveWire, the Motor Company has posted several open positions on its online job board calling for applicants with a background in electric vehicles and electromechanical engineering. Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines
Fri, 29 Jul 2022Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.
