Harley-Davidson Softail description

2008 Screaming Eagle Softtail Springer CVO w/ the powerful 110 motor. This bike never fails to get attention and compliments wherever I go. It has this fabulous paint job. I call it burnt orange; with this extraordinary two-tone design built into the paint.  I’ve only seen one other of this bike with this paint job since I bought it new. The bike is completely stock except for the screaming eagle pipes and a chrome rack over the softtail fender.  Bike has always been garage kept, regularly maintained and I’ve never had any mechanical issues. It just fires up and goes. I bought a new Screaming Eagle so I’m reluctantly letting this one go because it is such a fantastic bike but need room in my garage. Buyer is responsible for cost of shipping. If you want it shipped to you, you must arrange with a shipper within 50 miles of Bonita Springs, Fl. and I will deliver it there. Otherwise buyer may pick the bike up at my residence in Bonita Springs, Fl.

Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle Vance & Hines Team Unveils Restyled V-Rod Drag Bikes

Fri, 09 Mar 2012

The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.

Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 and 965S Middleweight Adventure Bikes on the Way

Mon, 11 Apr 2022

RA975 and RA965S models appear on official Harley-Davidson website Last week, we broke the news confirming Harley-Davidson‘s next Sportster will be equipped with a 975cc version of the liquid-cooled Revolution Max engine, after spotting the model code “RH975” mentioned on an official Harley accessory page. It turns out the next Sportster wasn’t the only new model accidentally leaked by Harley-Davidson. Another accessory product listing, this time for a Pan America locking fuel cap, revealed two more model codes: the RA975 and RA965S.

More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges

Mon, 17 Oct 2022

Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
