Wider chopped rear fender. Wider seat. Skillet slabs of silver, disc cast aluminum wheel ringed with .50-calibur bullet-size holes. Low-profile risers accentuate the fattened 1-1/4 inch internally wired handlebar for a clean look. New nacelle, valance and tank strap with chrome bullet tip details. Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
2014 Harley-Davidson Fat Bob Receives Dark Custom Makeover
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The Harley-Davidson Fat Bob is returning for 2014 with a new blacked-out look as the latest model to get H-D’s Dark Custom look. The new, darker Fat Bob features a number of blacked-out components including the powertrain and air cleaner cover, rear shock covers, triple clamps, headlight trim, console and battery box cover. The machined aluminum slotted disc wheels have also been received a black powdercoated finish as well as a laser-ingraved Harley-Davidson logo and rim stripe.
