Harley-Davidson Softail description

2006 Harley Davidson fxsti.  Starting with the rear the fender is an actual 06 fender meaning it bolts right up and the computer is mounted in stock location.  The license plate bracket is all custom built and tig welded to swingarm not cheap bolt on garbage. Rear tire is okay for riding but should be replaced soon. Rear wheel and pulley are stock HD that have been Chromed. Includes 2 seats a HD Badlander (shown) and a Le Pera bare bones solo seat. Battery was replaced 2 years ago and is maintained during winter months. 16" apes with stock HD risers, was done right with wiring kit and wires ran through bars.  Lower legs are and tubes are HD with 3deg trees.  Front tire is less than year old and front rim is HD from a Duece.  Brakes and rotors are all stock HD not aftermarket garbage, rotors have been polished.  Hand and foot controls are all HD also and havent been compromised by the build.  Fuel injected with HD stage 1 intake.  Pipes are just Big Growls that have been blacked out (wasnt sure if id like that style so i went cheap).  This bike can be road everyday as much as desired and there is no weird issues.  I can ride all day with brand new bikes and only normal maintenance is needed at end of year.  There has been no work done to motor or transmission and all brakes and controls are reliable HD parts not aftermarket junk.  Thanks for looking and please ask questions if you have them.

Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.

Wesll Quad Prototype

Mon, 09 Feb 2009

A number of manufacturers have tinkered with various three-wheeled motorcycle applications over the years. Companies like Piaggio, Can-Am, Brudeli and even Harley-Davidson have produced unique trikes with ranging levels of success. The Wesll Corporation is attempting to do one better, literally, as it develops a four-wheeled mechanism that could be applied to many different kinds of bikes.
