Lots of Chrome added (tastefully), Passenger seat backrest (removable), passenger running boards vs. the foot pegs. day pack on back rest, handle bars chromed out with new grips and brake and clutch levers, smoked removable windshield, highway engine guard with foot rests. Bike is fuel injected and has Screaming Eagle staggered pipes and new air intake. Bike was remapped when all this was added at the dealer before I took it home. New battery 3 weeks ago. This bike has been kept under a cover and is VERY Clean. It only has 3,000 mis on it . Ive changed the oil twice since buying it and it has synthetic oil in it. Donation of Photos and Memorabilia to Harley-Davidson Museum Reveal Glimpse of Early Days at Harley
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Harley-Davidson Museum today posted on its Facebook page a selection of photos it received as part of collection of images and memorabilia donated by a former Harley employee. According to the Facebook post former H-D employee Bob Jameson donated “ two scrapbooks, numerous photographs, news clippings and other company related materials” for the museum’s collection. Jameson, following in his father’s footsteps, worked for The Motor Company, and in 1960 helped develop a motorcycle suited for use in the Vietnam war.
New 2012 Harley-Davidson Models Named in CARB Documents
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Documents released by the California Air Resources Board reveal two new models from Harley-Davidson’s 2012 lineup: a 10th anniversary edition V-Rod and a new member of the Dyna family. The CARB documents list motorcycles that have received approval for the state of California. The Motor Company has received approval for several 2012 models including the 2012 Harley-Davidson Night Rod Special Anniversary and the 2012 Harley-Davidson Switchback.
