The entire handlebar group is chromed, braided, and all wires are tucked cleanly into the bars. 1550cc HD Big Power Kit, Boss Bags, Vance & Hines Pipes, windshield, backrest, well.....just everything. It's a one-of-a-kind in this aspect. I bought the bike to save gas while out visiting my territory customers. To take my 17.3 inch laptop and printer on the road, I asked Boss to create a custom bag to carry the laptop and printer. They designed a custom oversized bag that matches the standard bags. Like the standard bags, it also has quick disconnect. I can switch bags in less than 10 seconds. I now have a time-consuming career and the bike needs someone who'll enjoy the ride. I have in the neighborhood of $20,000 in the bike. It has 15,073 miles (mostly highway) and I have always maintained it as recommended by Harley. Never been down. Not even a blemish on the bike. 2015 Harley-Davidson CVO and Twin-Cooled Models Certified by CARB
Tue, 19 Aug 2014The California Air Resource Board has released new certification documents revealing most of Harley-Davidson‘s 2015 line-up. The CARB executive orders, required before a motorcycle is allowed to be sold in California, reveal new CVO versions of the Road Glide Ultra and Street Glide, two low versions of the Electra Glide and more models receiving Harley-Davidson’s Twin-Cooled engine. Introduced last year on the Ultra Limited, CVO Limited and Tri-Glide Ultra trike, the Twin-Cooled engine uses liquid-cooling for the cylinder heads, reducing emissions.
2012-2013 Harley-Davidson VRSCDX Night Rod Special Recalled for Loose License Plate Bracket
Thu, 25 Oct 2012Harley-Davidson is issuing a recall on all Night Rod Special models from 2012 and some from 2013 because of a potentially loose license plate bracket. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounting screws connecting the VRSDCDX‘s license plate bracket to the tail may loosen, potentially causing the plate to rub against the rear tire. This may cause the plate bracket to rotate as well as damage rear brake lines.
