Harley-Davidson Softail description

This is an 05 Springer Classic. Black Cherry color. 21k miles. Carbureted. Very good shape. Never dropped. Has two small scratches. One on front fender, and one under the seat not visable. Has what I believe to be chubby 16 inch apes. I put the Harlely Nostalgia engine guard and half moon floorboards on. I have a detachable windshield, original beach bars and cables, mufflers, owners manual, and extras that go with it. Tires and brakes are good. Always garage kept. Please ask questions. Sold as is where is. Will not ship. If you need it shipped you arrange the shipping. If you are within 30 miles of 08755, I can deliver it. I reserve the right to end auction early. It is also for sale locally. Thanks for looking.

Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?

Tue, 18 Aug 2009

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.

Harley-Davidson to Assemble More Models in India

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Harley-Davidson is expanding its assembly operations in India, increasing the number of models imported as complete knockdown kits to nine. Harley-Davidson will now assemble the Fat Boy, Fat Boy Special and Heritage Softail Classic in India, joining six models already being assembled in India. The move follows India’s new budget which increases import duties on motorcycles with engines larger than 800cc to 75% from the previous rate of 60%.
