Harley-Davidson Softail description

For sale is my 2004 Harley-Davidson "Fatboy" batman theme bike.  This bike is a show bike which is why I never rode is much without keeping an eye on it.  It is in great shape.  Like a batman bike would be, I have added tons of gizmos and electronics on it.  Everything that I can chrome on the bike has been chromed.

It comes with a detachable back rest and a detachable front windshield.  It has 2 different alarms systems in place, one is a motion detector and the other is a kill start.  It has an all electronic dash and electronic side view mirrors.  The side mirrors are electronics and digital.  They give you all the indicators you need, speed, mileage, lights.  There are blue LEDs hidden underneath the bike which lit up at a touch of a button.  The exhaust are aftermarket very loud and deep sounding.  The headlamp is custom.

It includes:
Custom floor boards
Custom Headlamp
Custom Pedals
Custom Side View Mirror Electronic with Lights
Custom Solid Chrome Wheels
Custom Side Hard Leather lock bags

Much more custom add ons.  Have to see in person.  All sales are final.  No refunds.

Harley-Davidson's Production Stoppage Was Caused by Non-compliant Brake Lines

Fri, 29 Jul 2022

Production ramps up to meet year-end targets Back in May, Harley-Davidson announced it would temporarily halt motorcycle production due to a “regulatory compliance matter” regarding an unspecified part from a third-party supplier. Harley-Davidson initially estimated the stoppage would last two weeks but it eventually lasted 19 days before production resumed on June 6. The actual cause for the delay remained unclear some speculating the issue was related to the powertrains, as the stoppage only affected Harley-Davidson’s gas engine-powered motorcycles and not the electric LiveWires.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

Wed, 04 Dec 2013

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
