Harley-Davidson Softail description

Local Trade In

We just traded this Fat Boy in from the second owner who purchased it when it was a one year old 500 mile bike. He wasn't a frequent rider has the mileage proves. Most of the time the bike was setting in his garage. The previous owner added a quick release windshield, quick release back rest, detachable leather bags, Harley Davidson chrome bolt covers on the engine, Harley Davidson chrome passenger foot board covers plus a rear fender guard. There are probably a few more items that I am over looking. The tires are good front and rear, the engine runs right and the 5 speed transmission is smooth shifting. Now is the time to get out and ride. Enjoy the weather and open road. A motorcycle opens up a whole new world. New friends, new adventures and turns everyday driving into a pleasure. Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.

More Evidence of a Harley-Davidson Pan America 975 Emerges

Mon, 17 Oct 2022

Earlier this year, we wrote about how signs of a Pan America 975 were mistakenly mentioned in an official Harley-Davidson web page for an accessory locking fuel cap. Up until shortly after our article went live, the page listed the fuel cap as being compatible with the RA1250 (Pan America 1250) and RA1250S (Pan America 1250 Special) as well as two unannounced models: the RA975 and RA965S, which we assumed to be Pan America models powered by the 975cc version of the Revolution Max engine, like the one equipped on the Nightster. Motorcycle.com has now obtained further evidence of the existence of middleweight versions of Harley-Davidson’s adventure-tourer, once again from Harley itself, as well as the U.S.
