Harley-Davidson Softail description

Harley's best color combination Centennial Gold and Vivid Black with 23K gold leaf graphics. The 100th Anniversary Screamin' Eagle Deuce was a limited production model with only 3000 built. This CVO model was factory lowered and loaded with chrome. 1550cc engine, Electronic Fuel Injection, with high compression pistons and a 257 twin cam, dealer installed. This bike comes with an additional HD touring seat, backrest, and after market leather bags, and a HD fabric cover. Tires and brakes are all new as well as all synthetic fluids. The only imperfections are a little chrome flaking on the tachometer bezel and a very small paint chip on the rear fender.This bike is very fast and gorgeous top to bottom. Exhaust is a set of Vance and Hines staggered long-shots with removable baffles. Bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early.

Owner of Tsunami-Tossed Harley-Davidson Found in Japan

Harley-Davidson representatives in Japan have identified the owner of the motorcycle lost in last year’s tsunami but later found on a remote beach in Canada. The 29-year-old owner, Ikuo Yokoyama, lives in Yamamoto, Japan, in Miyagi Prefecture, the region hardest hit by the 2011 Japanese earthquake and tsunami. Yokoyama survived the disaster but lost three family members and is still living in temporary accommodations.

2012 US Motorcycle Sales Results – Industry Reports 2.6% Increase

The Motorcycle Industry Council reported a 2.6% increase in motorcycle sales in the U.S. market for 2012. According to the industry group’s figures, American consumers purchased 452,386 motorcycles in 2012 compared to 440,899 motorcycles in 2011.

Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement

Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.
