This bike is as close to new as you can get for a 2003! I paid a premium for this bike due to its condition and the work that has been done to it. I just got it off the dyno at our Harley dealer and it is putting nearly 100HP and 100TQ to the pavement! This is an S&S Big Bore 95ci 1550cc kit, with the S&S carb and breather kit, and 585G gear driven cams. The bike is finely tuned and runs and drives perfectly. The sound is incredible but not for the faint hearted... It put out these numbers with large diameter drag pipes!! I have a video of it on the dyno a few months ago if you search youtube for "03 Night Train Dyno". The paint scheme is done in Candy Apple Red over the original black 100th Anniversary paint and looks amazing. The quality of the paint is top notch and cost over $2,000 alone. The seat is a custom red flame seat. They make a matching flame pillion pad here on ebay if you want, but i never had a passenger and didn't want to cover up the paint on the rear fender. This bike recently had a $300 high torque starter put in and it fires off in a second. The grips are custom Arlen Ness grips. There is a leather tool pouch behind the front tire. I was going to get a swing arm bag like on my wifes 2015 Forty Eight that is also for sale on Ebay right now, but never bought one. Please don't hesitate to call me at 319-231-8974. Harley-Davidson Invites Fan On Red Carpet At Captain America Premiere
Mon, 17 Mar 2014Harley-Davidson and Marvel surprised fans at the premiere of Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier in Hollywood, by inviting them onto the red carpet after it closed. Fans at the event were spontaneously selected to walk and experience the official red carpet and to check out a brand new Street 750 motorcycle along with the stars of the film, who autographed the bike for charity. The Winter Soldier star Chris Evans signs a new Harley-Davidson Street 750 at the premiere in Hollywood, CA. Following the premiere, Harley-Davidson will donate the bike to Concord Youth Theatre. In its continued partnership with Marvel Comics, Harley-Davidson had six motorcycles at the premiere along the red carpet, where fans took pictures and interacted with actor and musician, Tyler Posey, the official Harley-Davidson commentator and host.
Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
