VERY CLEAN AND A RARE FIND FOR A 1992 HERITAGE. THE MOTOR RUNS GREAT AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD. THE BIKE LOOKS VERY ORIGINAL WITH SOME NICE AFTERMARKET PIPES AND SOME CHROME ACCESSORIES. THERE ARE A COUPLE CHIPS IN THE PAINT, BUT VERY MINOR, (SHOWN IN PICS). THIS BIKE IS IN ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION FOR THE YEAR. THE BIKE WAS TRADED IN ON A NEW HARLEY. IT HAS A NEW REAR TIRE AND THE FRONT TIRE IS GOOD. THE BIKE DOES HAVE OIL LEAK AT BASE OF CYLINDER WHICH IS VERY COMMON . Harley Declares Women Riders Month
Tue, 10 Feb 2009Back in July of ’08 Motorcycle.com announced that The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum and Nationwide Insurance were working together to mark July as Women’s Motorcycle Month in order to honor the contribution made to history by female riders. This May, Harley-Davidson is staging a series of events in order to celebrate women on two wheels by declaring May, “Women Riders Month.” Some of the Harley-Davidson Women Riders Month initiatives will include special rides in New York City and Milwaukee as well as an attempt to grace the pages of the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest number of women motorcycle riders trained in one weekend. Harley-Davidson dealerships will also be hosting women-only Garage Parties, which consist of informal meetings in an unintimidating environment where women can learn about motorcycling.
Harley-Davidson and Brando Estate Settle Boot Suit
Tue, 06 Mar 2012The estate of Marlon Brando and Harley-Davidson have reached a settlement in a civil suit over the use of the actor’s name. As reported last May, the dispute was over a leather riding boot Harley-Davidson sold as “The Brando”. The suit sought an injunction for Harley-Davidson to stop using the Brando name, and asked for unspecified damages.
