Check out this rare, hard to find 1999 Heritage Softail Springer. Only 2790 of these bikes were produced in 1999, and I can't imagine more than 400 were made in this color combo. This bike will increase in value as time goes by. Beautiful bike that runs and rides perfect. The original paint shines like new. Some of the chrome is bubbling a bit here and there, and some of the chrome is corroding/rusting in spots (wheels, top of the fork, SEE PICTURES) Definitely not a show bike, but a great rider. Re-chroming or replacing a few parts could make this bike VERY nice. Clean title, 34723 miles. Tires are in great shape, plenty of tread left I don't have the original saddlebags, there are a few sets available on eBay right now. The Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines racing team unveiled its restyled V-Rod drag motorcycles ahead of the first Pro Stock Motorcycle round of the 2012 NHRA Full Drag Racing series. Reigning champion Ed Krawiec and Andrew Hines will compete for the Harley-Davidson team on new V-Rod drag bikes, restyled to more closely resembled the Night Rod Special production model. This marks the first restyling of Harley-Davidson’s NHRA competition bikes since the V-Rod entered the competition in 2002, and comes as The Motor Company celebrates the V-Rod’s 10th anniversary.“The goal was to make the drag racing motorcycles look more like the current production Night Rod Special motorcycle,” says Kris Schoonover, Harley-Davidson racing manager.

2011 Indy Mile Cancelled

Indy Mile officials have decided to cancel this year’s AMA Flat Track round due to the continuing investigation into the fatal stage rigging accident at the Indiana State Fair. The Aug. 13 tragedy killed five people and injured dozens after winds reaching as high as 70 mph caused the stage to collapse.
