Beautiful 95th Anniversary Heritage Springer Soft-tail Slim #374 of 3000 built. Special Midnight Red Pearl with highly sought after matching saddle bags. Comes with two windshields, tinted and clear. Spare Seat. Luggage Rack. Screamin Eagle Ignition, pipes, air cleaner all installed by HD. Original ignition, pipes and air cleaner included. Andrews EV27 cams installed by HD. Original cams included. Kury Akyn extended brake pedal kit not installed. Shift lever filler spool installed to enable removal of rear shift lever. Both tires are original wide white walls, which were removed and later re-installed. Rear tire is fair, front is good. Dent or small crease on top of front fender paint not broken through. Motorcycle is carefully housed in my Omaha, NE shop.

Harley-Davidson has opened its first dealership in Vietnam, the world’s fourth largest market for motorcycles. Located in Phu My Hung in District 7 of Ho Chi Minh City, the new Harley-Davidson of Saigon opened its doors this past weekend with a full lineup of 27 models. Vietnam is one of the world’s largest markets with sales of 3.1 million two-wheelers in 2012, trailing only China, India and Indonesia.

While they may have been convenient and offered motorcycle-friendly amenities, they did so with little comfort or luxury. On the other hand, accommodations on the higher end of the spectrum were pretentious and inconvenient for storing bikes and gear.

H-D Confirms Road Glide Dump

In a conference call with investors yesterday, Harley-Davidson Inc. admitted the rumors are true: the Motor Company is dropping the Road Glide. According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.
