Harley-Davidson Softail description

This is a mint unblemished sparkling absolutely like new 1997 1st year of product Springer Heritage Classic Softail There are no dings rust chips color changes in finish road tar rock chips any where on the vehicle body surface or chrome The only mark on the bike is a rub and clear is cracking under both gas caps where a previous owner installed two Kuryakln gas cap covers caused by the specialized caps where the gas cap gasket sits on the tanks I replaced caps with chrome caps that no longer rub and they look great The described flaw can only be seen when gas caps are off The leather is also immaculate and in like new condition Picture shows bike without bags because I prefer showing off the beauty of the bike by not covering it with saddle bags and rear seat but I have them and they go with the bike New HD battery was installed last summer

Harley-Davidson Suspends All Vehicle Production for Two Weeks

Harley-Davidson announced it is pausing assembly and shipments of all motorcycles for a two-week period due to a problem with a component from a third-party supplier. Production halted as of May 18, the day after Harley-Davidson was notified about the problem by the supplier. The official statement was brief, and offered very little in the way of detail.

Canadian publication Cycle Canada had some fun on a photoshoot for its review of the Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight for the July issue. As Pete wrote in our own review, the Harley-Davidson Sportster Forty-Eight has a rugged, bobber-inspired look with its chopped fender, chubby front tire and underslung mirrors. For the guys over at Cycle Canada, the Forty-Eight conjured up a rather odd image: roller derby.
