Like new local bike. The Vivid Black with purple scallops were only produced 1 year (1996). Only 1,103 total produced and very few remain in original mint condition like this bike. Very collectable. Only 9,945 pampered miles. Designed by Willie G. Davidson. These came from the factory with black springer, black fender struts, black risers, black oil tank, floating rotors, silver calipers, special black studded seat, chrome slotted rear wheel, special dash, & much more. Mon, 15 Apr 2013A leaked memo sent out to Harley-Davidson dealers reveals plans to drop several models from the company’s 2014 lineup. Slated to disappear are the XR1200X Sportster, the FXS Softail Blackline, and the FLHTC Electra Glide Classic. Also being discontinued, at least for 2014, is the FLTRX Road Glide Custom and FLTRU Road Glide Ultra, as the tourer models undergo a design refresh.

The first Dyna rolled out in 1991 in the form of the FXDB Sturgis, which I think is the one I rode to Sturgis. Ten years ago, Pete and Fonzie rode the FXDC Super Glide.
