Harley-Davidson Softail description

Nicely customized HD softail, 7000 miles, painted 3 tone green with flames. Lots of chrome, pass seat flips up for comfort when you have a rider with you. seat has green flames on it. Seat has some wear but no tears. there is some cracking in the clear coat on the lower part of the rear fender but not noticeable unless you get right up on it.Bike looks nice and runs good. Good bike week bike. Fast and loud.

Ever gone to take your Harley for a spin and thought "You know, I wish this thing had a couple more seats, infact no, I wish it had 10". Well, you might not have done that, I know I haven't, but one man who did was Steve Hopkins who built this bike using 7 Harley-Davidson engines some which date back over 100 years. To prove it rides, Hopkins and nine passengers hopped on the bike on Saturday to start the 900 mile ride from Wisconsin to Sturgis.

The guy behind this twin-engined pulsejet motorcycle, Robert 'Bob' Maddox, fascinates me. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
