Harley-Davidson Softail description
This is a 1991 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail classic and 1 of only 150 produced in this color. The engine was a 1340cc bored out and has 10:1 compression now. Engine was rebuilt in 2006 and has less then 100 miles on it. The carburetor was just rebuilt last week. There are various stickers on the bike that you can see in the pictures. The rear fender also has a pinstriped memorial on it,also in the pictures.It is not easily seen because it is behind the license plate and under the storage bag on back of seat.The gas tanks were upgraded to 5 gallons(2 -2 1/2 gallon). The bike comes with a windshield and a extra seat and various extra parts. The rims are aluminum with a Metzler 140/90 on the rear and a 130/90 on the front. The engine exhaust is 1.5" straight pipes.If you have any questions please ask before bidding. The bike is located in Wingdale N.Y. Fri, 19 Dec 2008Every year it seems that newspaper advertisements, radio and TV commercials for Christmas start earlier and earlier. As soon as the sun begins to set on Halloween, department stores begin packing shelves and websites start stocking inventory in preparation for the impending feeding frenzy that will occur for the most commercial of holidays next to valentine’s day. While spending the holiday with family normally keeps me blitzed off eggnog and most of these aforementioned advertisements are enough to make me want to book a cruise for an entire fortnight at the end of December, this one commercial for Harley-Davidson made me laugh.
