Harley-Davidson Softail description
This is a 1991 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail classic and 1 of only 150 produced in this color. The engine was a 1340cc bored out and has 10:1 compression now. Engine was rebuilt in 2006 and has less then 100 miles on it. The carburetor was just rebuilt last week. There are various stickers on the bike that you can see in the pictures. The rear fender also has a pinstriped memorial on it,also in the pictures.It is not easily seen because it is behind the license plate and under the storage bag on back of seat.The gas tanks were upgraded to 5 gallons(2 -2 1/2 gallon). The bike comes with a windshield and a extra seat and various extra parts. The rims are aluminum with a Metzler 140/90 on the rear and a 130/90 on the front. The engine exhaust is 1.5" straight pipes.If you have any questions please ask before bidding. The bike is located in Wingdale N.Y. Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season
Wed, 04 Dec 2013More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.

Tue, 18 Oct 2011As expected, Harley-Davidson reported a net income of $183.6 million over the third quarter ended Sept. 25, 2011, a 106% increase from the $88.8 million reported in the same quarter of 2010. Harley-Davidson reported sales revenue of $1.23 billion, a 13.4% increase from the $1.09 billion reported in the same quarter of 2010.
