Harley-Davidson Softail description

Hello and thanks for taking a look at this 1990 Harley FXST single seat custom bike.  I'm selling this for a friend who doesn't use the computer.  PLEASE call Gary who is the owner with any questions before bidding!  He can be reached at (484) 221-2403 and would be glad to answer any of your questions regarding the bikes condition and history.  He did ask me to mention that it has a new back tire, new battery, and has straight pipes with baffles, and that it looks good and runs great.

I 've listed this item as local pick-up only but Gary would be happy to help get it onboard your shipping company's truck.

Thanks again and good luck!

Terminator 2 Harley-Davidson Is Coming Home

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

If you thought Arnold Schwarzenegger’s greatest role was in Terminator, then you should make your way to Milwaukee: The Harley-Davidson Museum has acquired one of the few surviving 1990 Harley-Davidson FatBoy motorcycles used in the filming of Terminator 2: Judgement Day. At the time of filming, the FatBoy was one of Harley-Davidson’s newest models, and the one now in the Museum’s permanent collection was ridden by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the 1991 action classic. “Terminator 2 is an iconic film and a celebrated piece of pop culture history,” said Jim Fricke, Curatorial director of the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Harley-Davidson Hiring 400 Temporary Workers

Wed, 13 Nov 2013

Harley-Davidson is looking for 400 casual workers for its factory in York, Pa., to help with a planned seasonal surge in production. The jobs begin in January 2014 and will run through until the end of May. “When we ramp up production to meet customer demands, it allows us the manufacturing flexibility to build the right bike, the right time for the right person,” Harley-Davidson Spokesperson Bernadette Lauer tells the York Daily Record.

Harley-Davidson Denies Plans for Small-Displacement Model for India

Fri, 18 May 2012

India’s 13-million-unit-per-year motorcycle market is comprised of mostly small-displacement models, so it sounds odd at first when manufacturers such as Harley-Davidson and Triumph enter the market with their larger-displacment models. The question quickly arises as to whether they will stick with their existing big-bore models or introduce an all-new, small-capacity model for the Indian market. Manufacturers like the Big Four from Japan already produce smaller models for other markets so it’s a relatively easy task for them to introduce new models such as Honda‘s recently launched 109cc Dream Yuga.
