Harley-Davidson Softail description

1986 Heritage Softail she's been completely restored and has so many upgrades it's hard to list them all. She has been chromed-out, custom paint job, windshield with etched roses, period correct hard bags, 6gal tank,  full gel seat done in custom brown leathers with matching fringe floorboards & grips.   Chrome Twisted Spokes and new rims. There is some rust on the nipples connecting the spokes. She is one of the First Heritage Softails off the line. this was first year for the Heritage and 2 year for the Softail. It a rare bike and I kept the original color scheme of red and cream and extended the cream from the tank over the fenders and added the Roses. When the heritage first came out you could order hard bags or soft bags I have found period-correct hard bags and had them painted to match.  This is a great bike,so much fun to ride! Its eye catching !!

I really don't want to sell her but I can't stand looking at her not being ridden.  I have a bad back and can't ride anymore.

Buyer is required to make all shipping arrangements and payments.  Bike will ship only as after cashier check/ money order/ cash has been received/ cleared.

ACCEL Stealth Supercoils Now Available For Harley-Davidson Sportsters

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

ACCEL today announced the company’s popular motorcycle Stealth SuperCoils will now be available to owners of 2007-2014 Harley-Davidson Sportsters.  First introduced in late-2013 for Harley-Davidson Twin-Cam engines, ACCEL’s Stealth SuperCoils provide quicker engine starting and improved throttle response, while hiding all ignition wiring in the head of the self-contained coil pack; eliminating the need for spark plug wires and creating a clean, custom look. In addition to the flat black and natural aluminum finishes, the Sportster Stealth SuperCoils are offered in flat black with polished aluminum edges. Each SuperCoil mounts directly to the spark plug and features a cross-functional cast aluminum cover that also acts as a heat sink, pulling heat away from the cylinder heads.

2010 Sportster Forty-Eight [video]

Mon, 25 Jan 2010

Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player. The 2010 Harley-Davidson Forty-Eight retails for $10,499 for the black version, $10,789 for the silver or orange. Click here for more info.
