Harley-Davidson Softail description

2006 H-D Custom 250mm Fatboy

The Fatboy is one of the most recognizable motorcycles on the road due to its muscular profile, custom flared front fender and its big chrome headlight mounted on wide handlebars. The look is not only aggressive but unmistakably Harley-Davidson. Equipped with a dual-counterbalanced Twin Cam and optioned with super-smooth EFI this beauty sounds awesome ripping through its Python performance exhaust. Standard features include a black powder coated engine with chrome covers, hardtail styling, fat FL forks and a FL rear fender. It gets much better though because this Fatboy has been fattened up with a 250mm rear tire kit from Heartland that looks drop dead gorgeous with its chrome Pro One billet wheels with a matching pulley and rotors. The upgrades don’t stop there as you will also find 1 ¼” Carlini bars with all chrome hand controls switches and housings as well as chrome billet forward controls, LED rear turn signals, HHI 4 degree trees, a 5 ¼” headlight, a chrome front end and a rear passenger seat with backrest that is all quick release. You will also notice in the pix a list of chrome covers and accents as long as your arm. All said and done almost $25,000 was spent to convert this beauty into what you now see. So, if you like what you see you better call us because this gem is sure to move quickly!

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Motorcycle Stirrups – Yes, They Exist!

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

What do you get when a lifelong horse rider and motorcyclist from Nebraska gets inspired to combine his two loves? Why, motorcycle stirrups, of course! The idea came to Devin Santana, proprietor of Nebraska City Iron Works, one day when he was riding his Harley-Davidson down the road and looked down at his feet.
