2007 Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic FLSTC Cruiser Motorcycle. 1584 CC engine, long shot Vance & Hines stage one pipes, aftermarket LED lamps, cruise control, antitheft alarm, windshield, backrest, saddlebags, garage kept, original owner and service records. The Heritage Classic is a touring cruiser that incorporates classic-looking fenders, a black powdercoated engine with chromed covers, passing lamps, a wind screenand leather saddlebags. And while Harley-Davidson has simplified the engine and transmission styling of other model families, the Softails retain the more classic styling cues such as the horseshoe oil tank and exposed oil lines. Turn the switch up on the dash, hit the button and this big-incher starts with a sharp bark. There___s no need to fiddle with a choke lever, as all 2007 Harleys get the improved Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. The new injector nozzles cover 25 degrees, replacing nozzles that offered only 8 degrees of coverage. They work very well and allow the rider to make fine throttle adjustments easily. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.

According to the Milwaukee Business Journal, during the investor call Thursday discussing second-quarter results Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) Senior Vice President and CFO John Olin publicly confirmed the previously reported model dump to the Motor Company’s Touring lineup.
