As you can see from the large array of photographs displaying its condition in detail we are very proud of this Road Glide. A trained eye will notice that all of the dress up / ad-ons are from Harley Davidson, not the cheap imitations. You can see the foot controls, highway pegs, floor boards (passenger and rider), handle bar grips, shifter arms are all from the HD Streamliner collection. The handle bars have been upgraded to the comfort ride (internal wired), The seat is new and is from Corbin ($1,000 cost). Mechanically the cams have been upgraded to a performance set and a gear drive installed as well as a performance computer re-flash. The exhaust is all brand new (literally replaced within the last month) and is all S&S true duals with their latest mufflers. The paint is near perfect, Chrome lower front forks and the inner panel of the fairing has been custom painted to match the original paint job. Designed to replace the OEM fork caps, the machined aluminum adjusters can be installed in well under an hour with basic tools and are available for 39mm and 49mm Sportster and Dyna forks. The adjusters sit tight against the triple tree to avoid handlebar interference and are available in clear or black anodized finish. When in Rome for Harley’s 110th
Mon, 03 Jun 2013In addition to all the other goings-on scheduled for Harley-Davidson’s 110th celebration in Rome, Italy, Pirelli and LowRide magazine are teaming up to bring Italian Motor Company enthusiasts even more. During the June 13-16 celebration Pirelli is setting up shop at Lido di Ostia, transforming the Rome Nautical Club in to the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion. Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio will be imprinted on a range of tires. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the Formula 1 simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration. Also on show is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. Pirelli technicians will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles.
