As you can see from the large array of photographs displaying its condition in detail we are very proud of this Road Glide. A trained eye will notice that all of the dress up / ad-ons are from Harley Davidson, not the cheap imitations. You can see the foot controls, highway pegs, floor boards (passenger and rider), handle bar grips, shifter arms are all from the HD Streamliner collection. The handle bars have been upgraded to the comfort ride (internal wired), The seat is new and is from Corbin ($1,000 cost). Mechanically the cams have been upgraded to a performance set and a gear drive installed as well as a performance computer re-flash. The exhaust is all brand new (literally replaced within the last month) and is all S&S true duals with their latest mufflers. The paint is near perfect, Chrome lower front forks and the inner panel of the fairing has been custom painted to match the original paint job. In addition to the restyling, the Street Bob joins the 1200 Custom as one of two bikes available for Harley’s web-based customization program known as H-D1. “Our focus for the Street Bob is always on street appeal,” Harley-Davidson’s Styling Manager Tony Pink said in a release.

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
