This is simpy the nicest running & riding classic Harley I have ever ridden. 1969 was the last year for the Panhead or Generator bottom Shovelhead. This bike was completely restored in 2010 and has only 6,090mis since complete. The motor and trans were completely rebuilt. The motor & trans are OEM original Harley and have matching vin#. Original HD Frame. The previous owner built this bike to ride and it is so smooth. It's swingarm frame along with the leather pogo seat rides softer than a new Bagger. The motor pulls strong and runs fantastic. Transmission shift smoothly. This is a very solid bike.Old drum brakes have been upgraded to disc brakes w/ genuine HD banana calipers. Swingarm is chrome as well as brake linkage. Many other extras/upgrades like S&S Super E carburetor, chrome handlebar controls, new windshield, drag pipes, chrome tappets, oil temp gauge, chrome shocks, chrome rotor cover, smooth rear fender, custom rear light bar, chrome chain guard, chrome front fender trim, chrome layback tag bracket, and much more. Marlon Brando Estate Files Suit Against Harley-Davidson
Tue, 17 May 2011Brando Enterprises, an operating entity that protects the Marlon Brando brand on behalf of the actor’s family, has filed a lawsuit against Harley-Davidson. The suit alleges Harley-Davidson used the legendary actor’s name without a license for a leather riding boot called “The Brando”. “It is interesting that Harley-Davidson – a company that is vigorously protective of its own brand – would seek to exploit an iconic property without benefit of a licensing agreement,” says Jeffrey I.
Harley’s Ed Krawiec is 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Champ
Mon, 14 Nov 2011Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines rider Ed Krawiec is the 2011 NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle world champion. Krawiec clinched the title with a second-round win at the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals at Auto Club Raceway that eliminated Lucas Oil Buell rider Hector Arana Jr., the only rider in the field with a chance to overtake Krawiec for the championship. Krawiec advanced to the final round and lost to his Harley-Davidson Screamin’ Eagle/Vance & Hines teammate Andrew Hines, who finished the season third in points.
