This is a custom-built Harley-Davidson motorcycle. It has a RevTech 100 Inch stroker motor and six speed transmission. One must open the compression releases to start the engine (they close automatically after start-up). This motorcycle has 671 miles on it. It needs a starter and the buyer needs to pay for registration ($113 if registering at California DMV). VIN is CA969432 and the assigned ID is #1048432. There is a $3,000 title loan on the motorcycle and proceeds from this sale will pay that loan off. Missing bolts shown in the pictures (holes) will be inserted (the owner is currently recuperating from surgery). The motorcycle has a blue powder coat. There are some scratches/scrapes on the left side of the gas tank, on the primary derby and timing covers (see pictures below). US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
Blues Brothers Too Old for Harley-Davidson 110th Anniversary Celebration?
Fri, 10 May 2013Comedian Dan Aykroyd says he offered to bring his Blues Brothers act to Harley-Davidson‘s 110th Anniversary celebrations but was turned down because H-D executives said the act was too old for the company’s target demographics. Aykroyd, playing the role of Elwood J. Blues with the late John Belushi playing “Joliet” Jake Blues, posted a statement on his official Facebook page suggesting Elwood is trading in his Harley-Davidson motorcycle for a Can-Am Spyder.

Titled “The Sound of the Festive Season”, the ad spot was produced by U.K agency Big Communications for Harley-Davidson Europe Middle East and Africa. According to AdWeek, the ad was conceived, sold and produced in just 72 hours.
