Harley-Davidson Other description

I have this sweet original SR 100 Harley Davidson Aermacchi up for auction that is advertised locally. This bike is scary original down to the Metzeler tires. This bike belongs in a HD collection or a bike museum. This has been sitting in my shop for a few weeks and when I decided to put it up for sale I pushed it outside and it started up on the second kick. I drove it way down the street and back and let it cool and washed the dust off of it. I had an Aermacchi pro enthusiast check it over and he agreed this is all original, and it has very low hours/ miles on it ever.  All lights work. When you google SR100 Harley Davidson this one pops up and was sold at Mecuum Auction a couple of years ago. It obviously did not run for I had to rebuild carb with NOS kit. Then it sold for 4 grand with out title and now it has clear in hand TN title. There is a small repaired spot on seat that is not very noticeable and one very rare clutch handle is bent slightly. There is a scratch on the headlight bucket that I could of fixed but left alone. Some time in its existence the tank was coated on the inside but the outisde is near perfect and original decals are cherry original. There is a rope imprint on the seat that suggest it was stored tied up to a wall. These bikes are extremely rare and I have only seen a few in person and one still in the crate. Probably only a handfull exist. If you are into Aermacchi's and Harley you should bid. Any questions or comments go through Ebay email or call 931-881-8351. You can not find a beat down Baja 100 or another thinking you can restore less expensive than what I want unless you have access to very rare parts and have the knowledge to rebuild. You find a shipper and I will help load out anywhere in the world. One pic is from a couple of years ago and the rest were taken August 31 2013. I have shop manual and owners manual to go with.

Ohio Man to be Buried on 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

Billie Leo Standley died last weekend from lung cancer, but before he died, the 82-year-old wished for the world to know he was going to ride off to heaven. To accomplish this wish, Standley and his family made arrangements for him to buried in a Plexiglas casket riding his 1967 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide. Warning: A graphic photograph of Standley in his casket can be viewed on the Dayton Daily Times website.

Three-Year-Old Motorcycle Prodigy?

Tue, 18 Aug 2009

Even though Tiger woods started paying golf at age two, this story of a three-year-old boy from New Delhi, India is probably just as impressive, maybe more.  Azeem Khan, photographed on the Royal Enfield Bullet above, has been granted a special license by judges in India allowing him to ride his motorcycle on side roads but is not allowed out on the main roads by himself. Khan’s father had to customize the bike so that the young boy could reach the controls and prove that he could handle the motorcycle on his own. I used to sit him on my bike and he would always grab at the controls.

Harley Riders Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Wed, 02 Oct 2013

The Harley-Davidson family of riders and fans has a promise for women affected by breast cancer: You’re not alone, because we ride with you. These riders and fans added extra horsepower to that promise by raising more than $1 million for organizations that support and empower women affected by breast cancer through the purchase of Harley-Davidson Genuine MotorClothes Pink Label Collection apparel and merchandise. “The brave and courageous women who have shared with us stories of battling breast cancer are the inspiration for the Pink Label Collection,” said Karen Davidson (right), Creative Director of General Merchandise and granddaughter of a Harley-Davidson Motor Company founder.
