Harley-Davidson Other description

2014 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle, 2014 VRSCF V-Rod Muscle - It sends 122 horsepower and 86 foot pounds of torque directly to your adrenal gland at 6,500 rpm. The V-Rod Muscle doesn't stutter when it makes its statement. The 2014 Harley-Davidson V-Rod Muscle VRSCF motorcycle is full of power drag style, performance and ride enhancement features including a 'slipper' Harley clutch. The 'slipper' motorcycle clutch ('slip and assist') is a unique Harley clutch that provides smooth, high-power handling in turns or whenever you downshift. By reducing clutch friction, the V-Rod Muscle models’ slipper clutch helps your rear wheel at a controlled clip. The Harley slipper clutch also comes on the V-Rod Night Rod Special H-D power motorbike. In addition to the slipper clutch, the V-Rod Muscle model features satin chrome, dual side exhaust with turnout mufflers. Jetting out past the rear axle, these dominating motorcycle pipes add to the fierce, beefy look of the bike. This Harley V-Rod Muscle motorcycle exhaust system proves that a performance exhaust can still be a beautiful set of pipes. The 240 millimeter wide tire in back also enhances the fat custom look of this power motorbike. Check out another Harley V-Rod motorbike, the Night Rod Special model, which is also a power motorcycle cruiser. While you're at it, learn about features on a few of the other 2014 Harley-Davidson motorcycles, like the chopper-inspired Sportster Seventy-Two model, the bare-bones bobber Softail Slim model, and the custom-style CVO Breakout model.

Harley-Davidson World Ride Tops 10 Million Miles; Eclipses 2012 Total by 28 Percent

Mon, 01 Jul 2013

Motorcycle riders from around the world enthusiastically joined members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) on June 23 and 24 to shatter last year’s record mileage total for the Harley-Davidson World Ride by collectively logging more than 10 million miles, a 28 percent increase over the 2012 total. Launched in 2008 as HOG’s Million Mile Monday, the annual event was expanded into the two-day Harley-Davidson World Ride in 2012 to give more riders worldwide an opportunity to participate. In 2012, participants logged 7,799,140 miles, but this year as riders celebrated the 110th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson Motor Company and the 30th Anniversary of HOG that culminates this Labor Day weekend in Milwaukee, they blitzed that record by more than 25 percent, tallying an official total of 10,018,231 miles.

Motorcycle.com Adds a New Editor

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

While some moto publications are cutting back and constricting, Motorcycle.com is proud to announce the addition of a new editor to our masthead. MO readers, meet Jon Langston, our new Associate Editor. I knew Langston was a cool cat when I first met him at the Harley-Davidson Blackline unveiling in January 2011.
