2014 Harley-Davidson FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic, FLHTCU Electra Glide Ultra Classic - When you set out to improve the most respected touring machine on earth, you don't take short cuts and you sure as hell don't accept any limits. The 2014 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic model FLHTC is a great touring motorcycle for your long distance trips. As part of Project RushMore the Harley Ultra Classic model has been redesigned for 2014 and features a new air-cooled high output Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with more low-end torque and passing power. It's mated to a smooth-shifting 6-speed Cruise Drive transmission for low rpm at highway speeds. For 2014, the Ultra Classic has improved room and touring comfort for the passenger and redesigned the iconic batwing fairing to reduce head buffeting. The 2014 Ultra Classic Electra Glide motorcycle features the new Reflex Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with dynamically, electronically linked brakes for optimum braking in all road conditions. Long distance riding has never been better. The new Boom Box Infotainment system provides the loudest, clearest sound and most intuitive operation ever on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. A key feature of the bike is the motorcycle luggage capacity. The sleek new saddlebags and Tour Pak provide more room for your gear. New on the Electra Glide Ultra Classic this year are Daymaker LED headlamps and LED fog lamps that provide 450 feet of punch down the road. 2014 Harley-Davidson CVO Lineup Revealed
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson revealed four models in its limited-production 2014 Custom Vehicle Operations. The CVO Breakout introduced last year is back for 2014, and this time it is joined by the all-new CVO Softail Deluxe (pictured above) and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited touring models which also received elements of Harley-Davidson’s new Project Rushmore initiative. All four CVO models get exclusive components and paint treatments not available on other Harley-Davidson models, as well as a number of accessories from the company’s catalog.
Jury Dismisses Suit Against Harley-Davidson Over ABS Indicator
Tue, 20 Dec 2011A Sacramento Superior Court jury has dismissed a lawsuit filed against Harley-Davidson involving a 2009 accident that left one of the plaintiffs with severe brain injuries. Judy Wilson was injured in an April 11, 2009, crash after her husband, Jack, locked the rear wheel of his non-ABS equipped 2008 Harley-Davidson Road Glide. The plaintiffs contended they believed their was equipped with ABS because the instrument panel had an ABS indicator icon and from the salesperson’s sales pitch.
Sturgis Buffalo Chip Student Build Challenge Will Use 2014 Harley-Davidson Street Glide

The bike build project is a collaboration between the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, Sturgis Brown High School, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Terry Components, Dakota V-Twin and a large group of industry-leading parts sponsors. The program provides the opportunity for Sturgis Brown High School students to learn from leading motorcycle industry professionals in order to create a one-of-a-kind custom motorcycle from a stock Harley-Davidson.
