Harley-Davidson Other description

2013 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FXS Softail Blackline, Long. Low. No BS. This Dark Custom leader is a minimalist throwback icon for today's freedom seekers. The 2013 Harley-Davidson Softail Blackline FXS model is a modern long custom motorbike with a minimalist, low profile and plenty of vintage Harley-Davidson parts. New for 2013, the Softail Blackline comes with optional Hard Candy Custom paint, a large metal flake paint finish that recalls the iconic styling of '70s custom bikes, and offers blazing color showing through a deep, finish. The H-D Blackline model features a large air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with six-speed cruise drive transmission, providing more power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and luggage. The FXS Blackline features a rigid "hardtail" rear suspension and narrow rear profile. This contemporary custom bike is slung low with an aggressive riding position that is both cool and comfortable. The Harley Blackline model is reminiscent of the glory days of Harley-Davidson motorcycling - the black headlight, slammed speedo mounted on the triple clamp, round air cleaner cover and black horseshoe oil tank are reminiscent of pre-war Harley parts and accessories; the fuel tank with small tank graphics are inspired by the 1977 Low Rider motorcycle; and the black cylinders with gray heads and black rocker covers is a look you'd find on the Panheads and Shovelheads of the 1950's and 60's. The 2013 H-D Softail Blackline model features a lot of blacked out parts and not a ton of extras - everything is functional and ready for the road. For more Harley Softail models, check out the Fat Boy model or any one of the Harley-Davidson cruiser motorcycles. The Heritage Softail Classic model gives you a classic motorcycle experience - learn more about this bike. Take a look at all of the Harley motorcycles and find the bike for you.

Airhawk Introduces DS Comfort Seating System For Dual Sport Bikes, Bikes With Narrow Seats

Fri, 16 May 2014

Airhawk, Inc., has introduced the DS Comfort Seating System, a cushion designed specifically for motorcyclists who ride dual sport bikes or bikes with narrower seats. Features of the DS cushion include a narrow front to match the seat profile of most dual sport/adventure bikes and bikes with narrow seats.  A tapered-down front minimizes unwanted pressure on the scrotum, and a heavy-duty hold-down strap system ensures a secure fit to the bike.  The DS also works well with narrow customized or aftermarket seats that have been installed for the purpose of getting the rider lower to the ground.

The 2022 Harley-Davidson Icons Model May Be the Low Rider El Diablo

Tue, 22 Feb 2022

The devil is in the details Earlier this year, Harley-Davidson revealed a new Low Rider ST featuring a FXRT-inspired fairing. Initial reaction to the Low Rider ST was very positive, with Jochen Zeitz, Harley-Davidson chief executive officer, claiming in Harley-Davidson’s Q4 earnings call “demand was so high for this bike that we sold out our first consumer allocation in 10 minutes.” While the retro fairing might not appeal to everyone, one other critique about the FXLRST (and a few other bikes in the 2022 lineup) is the rather drab selection of colors: Vivid Black and Gunship Gray. If you’re looking for a more vibrant Low Rider ST, you may want to wait a bit longer, as Harley-Davidson will be introducing a new variant to be called the “Low Rider El Diablo.” The name appears in vehicle emissions certification from the U.S.
