Harley-Davidson Other description
2013 Harley-Davidson FLSTFB - Softail Fat Boy Lo, Call or text Don Terry @ 817-217-1863 for more info. Excellent Condition, Low Mileage, Custom Exhaust, Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather, Detachable Windshield, Forward Controls.2013 Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy LOFat Custom StyleRecalling the hardtail choppers of the '60s and '70s, the Fat Boy Lo model keeps that heritage alive more than forty years later. It shows a darker side of the original fat custom bike laid-back and blacked-out with an unmistakable profile on the road. But the nostalgic style isn't just about the confident stance, paint and old-school detail. It's how you look riding it. It's how it feels. It's the classic, relaxed riding position that speaks volumes. You're not just cruising. You're in charge kicked back on a throne of machined metal surveying your domain.Twin Cam 103 Engine HeritageThe knowledge of what makes an engine truly move a rider runs deep at The Motor Company, and it was put to good use when we created the Twin Cam 103 engine. We sweated bullets perfecting every cubic inch, pushing design and technology forward. And we did it all without compromising one bit of Harley-Davidson's unique styling. Evolved, yet carrying on the legacy of the Flathead, Knucklehead, Panhead, Shovelhead, Evolution, Twin Cam 88 and Twin Cam 96 engines that came before. The performance and durability are a direct result of the untold miles logged on the V-Twin since 1909, and the proud heritage that comes from a century's worth of commitment to life on two wheels.Artfully Hidden TechnologyHarley-Davidson leverages the latest in technology without compromising style and function. That means we hide electronics. The whole wiring harness is skillfully routed behind the jewels of the bike the tank, engine and all the other eye-popping features you want to see. It's just another way The Motor Company goes the extra mile to give its bikes that premium, top-of-the-line fit and finish.Low SuspensionTo give the Fat Boy Lo model its distinctive road-hugging stance, we've dropped the front and rear suspension 1.15 inches. That makes it the lowest seat height of any stock Harley-Davidson model at a down and dirty 24.25 inches. Perfect for smaller riders or those who just like to feel down in the bike.Full-Length Rider FootboardsYour boots were made for riding, in any way you see fit. Our full-length footboards boast a tried and true design that's stood the test of time. Plenty of foot positions for your taste and comfort. Rubber vibration isolation for a comfortable ride. And heel-toe shifting for confident shifting every time. It takes a few rides, but once you've gotten used to the smooth heel-toe rhythm, you'll never give it up. The toes of your boots won't take the same beating, either.Features may include:Fat FeaturesHidden Rear Shoc

Dave Grohl Drums to the Sound of a Harley-Davidson Motorcycle
Fri, 31 Jul 2009I’ve got a lot of respect for Dave Grohl. He’s amazingly talented and very driven. Even after Nirvana, the guy is still kicking and in the spotlight with the Foo Fighters and the millions of other side projects he’s done (ie: Queens of the Stone Age). Apparently he’s also a big motorcycle guy. Harley-Davidson did a little video on Dave, featuring him drumming on a snare drum to the exhaust pipes of a Harley-Davidson. The seven minute video goes on about how Mr Grohl bought his first motorcycle when the Nirvana album “Nevermind” started to become big.
HD Recommends Things to Pack on a Long Motorcycle Trip
Thu, 23 Jul 2009Harley-Davidson was kind enough to post on Twitter a PDF of a list of things to bring with you on a long motorcycle trip. And what a list! It’s hard to believe you could squeeze all this stuff onto yourself and your bike.
Off-Road Motorcycle and Free-Ride Bicycle Compared
Thu, 11 Dec 2008What if anything do bicycles and motorcycles have in common? Besides the whole two-wheel thing, it isn’t outright apparent that these two “handle-barred beasts” share more than ancient ancestry. Modern Off-road motorcycle and Free-ride bicycle designs side-by-side illustrate how much technology the two have in common.
