The FLHRSE5 Road King model CVO has a detachable short custom wind deflector that cuts the wind for more comfortable riding. The H-D CVO Road King model offers custom extended saddlebags that add to the bike's premium touring capabilities, and custom-style Agitator wheels that add to its bold boulevard style. The Twin Cam 110 engine with Screamin' Eagle badges provides 110 cubic inches of power, a low cruising RPM, and lots of low end torque, along with silky smooth shifting of its six-speed cruise drive transmission. He's a cabinet maker by trade but is somewhat an expert in the field of pulsejet engineering and has built a whole host of machines powered by the ever so subtle jet engine. This latest bike is dubbed a Harley-Davidson Sportjet, although it has nothing to do with Milwaukee and I'm not sure why H-D made it onto the tank...
Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement
Thu, 12 Jun 2014Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.
Harley-Davidson Reports Q2 2013 Results
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Harley-Davidson reported a net profit of $271.7 million for the second quarter ended June 30, 2013, up from the profit of $247.3 million reported in the same period in 2012. For the first half of 2013, Harley-Davidson has recorded $495.9 million in profit, compared to $419.3 million reported in the opening six months last year. “Harley-Davidson again drove strong financial performance in the second quarter, reflecting the many improvements in operations we have made throughout the Company over the past few years as well as our brand strength globally,” says Keith Wandell, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Harley-Davidson, Inc.
