The 2013 Harley-Davidson CVO Road King FLHRSE5 model is the ultimate hot rod boom bagger. It packs a premium audio system that plays through speakers in the fairing lowers and saddlebag lids. For 2013, the CVO Road King model comes in an even more limited availability, serialized 110th Anniversary Special Edition, featuring exclusive commemorative anniversary styling elements, premium features and finely forged finishes that make it a top-of-the-line model and a true work of motorcycle art. The FLHRSE5 Road King model CVO has a detachable short custom wind deflector that cuts the wind for more comfortable riding. The H-D CVO Road King model offers custom extended saddlebags that add to the bike's premium touring capabilities, and custom-style Agitator wheels that add to its bold boulevard style. The Twin Cam 110 engine with Screamin' Eagle badges provides 110 cubic inches of power, a low cruising RPM, and lots of low end torque, along with silky smooth shifting of its six-speed cruise drive transmission. Chrome touring mufflers are a beautiful set of pipes that look great, sound impressive and keep rider and passenger safe from exhaust heat. Common responses from male motorcyclists to the press release were: Duh; Tell me something I didn’t already know; Can I be a recruiter? Meant to entice non-riding females into the Harley-Davidson army by pimping the Bar & Shield’s website, www.h-d.com/women, the press release was peppered with effeminate catchphrases such as “physical intimacy, “communication,” and “improves relationships” but the basal message is one of female motorcyclists being sexier, happier and more confident than their non-riding counterparts.
Mustang Announces Metal Flake Seat Colors and Display for Sturgis
Wed, 16 Jul 2014Just in time for Sturgis, Mustang Seats has release new color options for its custom seats. Designed to match the retro colors on Harley-Davidson’s Hard Candy Custom collection, the vinyl seats have metal flake in six available colors available on Mustang’s Tripper Solo, Tripper Fastback and DayTripper seats. According to Mustang, after the starting its custom seat program last fall, so many customers requested a metal flake option that they had to provide it.
