The Harley-Davidson Breakout model has a stretched, slammed custom style that's low, long and aggressive. The 2013 Breakout Harley Softail model is driven by a powerful air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive transmission that provides more performance power for passing and hill-climbing, and a low cruising RPM for more comfortable cruising. The big, bold Gasser wheels have alternating-position spokes with alternating Vivid Black and machined treatments. The FXSB Softail Breakout model's Gasser wheels recall the powerful, muscular wheels of classic 1960s and 1970s dragster bikes. The new H-D FXSB model's big V-twin engine has a unique, sharp-looking Vivid Black and chrome treatment. The massive 240 mm rear tire on the Breakout model is the widest wheel on any Harley-Davidson production motorcycle. Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway to Raise $76K for Boys & Girls Clubs in World Record Attempt
Thu, 23 May 2013Laconia Harley-Davidson and New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) have teamed up to make the 90th Anniversary of Laconia Motorcycle Week even more historic through an effort to raise over $76,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire and set a new Guinness Worlds Record. Laconia Motorcycle Week attendees and New Hampshire residents will play a key role in this endeavor by purchasing tickets for a Community Appreciation Parade at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on the final Saturday of Bike Week, June 15th. Participants will have the unique opportunity to ride around the New Hampshire Motor Speedway track, continue on a police escorted, scenic 32-mile ride around the Lakes Region, set a new Guinness World Record and most importantly, raise significant funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of New Hampshire.
Harley-Davidson Confirms 500cc Model on the Way, Says Electric Harleys Not That Far-Fetched
Mon, 02 Sep 2013It’s only been a couple of weeks since Harley-Davidson broke new ground by unveiling new “Twin-Cooled” liquid precision-cooling engine technology its new Project Rushmore suite of customer-driven refinements, but the Motor Company appears to have even more ambitious plans in the works. Speaking at Harley-Davidson’s 110th anniversary celebrations, Chief Operating Officer Matthew Levatich confirmed the company is producing a new 500cc model and opened the possibility of an electric Harley-Davidson somewhere down the line. We’ve previously written about Harley-Davidson’s plans to introduce a new 500cc V-Twin model for the Indian market.
A custom Harley-Davidson Street 750
Thu, 29 Jan 2015This amazing motorcycle was built in just four weeks in a workshop located 300 kilometers south of Harley-Davidson's Indian factory. The project came to life thanks to the efforts of Rajputana Customs and H.-D., which provided Street 750 as a donor. The first upgrade to the bike was a Suzuki GSX-R sport fork with stiffer springs and longer travel.
