2012 Harley-Davidson Road King Classic - FLHRC, ASK THOMAS FOR DETAILS2012 Harley-Davidson FLHRC Road King Classic
All the regal long-haul power and comfort of the Road King with an extra touch of nostalgia
The Road King Classic model takes the nostalgic look and feel of the Road King a little further with extra details for this road-worthy touring bike, like leather-wrapped saddlebags, nostalgic chrome fuel tank console, tooled metal detailing on the fender, tank, seat and bags, and chrome laced wheels with wide whitewall tires. The innovative Harley-Davidson Touring chassis is based on a single-spar, rigid backbone frame and a stout swingarm developed to withstand the demands of long-haul touring riders and today's powerful engines.
Residing beneath all that fine detail is the powerful 1690 cc, Twin Cam 103 engine with integrated oil cooler, and an Anti-lock
Braking System and a Smart Security System are available as a factory-installed option.
Add in the standard electronic cruise control and the Road King Classic proves, once again, that no one else can combine a glorious heritage with modern features and technology like Harley-Davidson.

Legends Ride Stops Sturgis Traffic
Tue, 06 Aug 2013This is a small sample of the participants in Monday’s annual Legends Ride from Deadwood to Sturgis. Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.
Harley-Davidson Reveals Project Livewire
Thu, 19 Jun 2014Yesterday we published a scoop on what we believed to be a production electric motorcycle by, of all companies, Harley-Davidson, dubbed “Livewire.” Today, H-D officially announced Project LiveWire as the company’s first electric motorcycle. However, it appears as though our speculation about LiveWire going into production was a bit off base. Instead, The Motor Company is continuing with its customer-led product development approach and letting riders decide whether or not LiveWire sees the light of day. Starting next week select consumers across the country will be able to ride and provide feedback on the bike, helping to shape the future of Harley-Davidson’s first-ever electric motorcycle. While not for sale, Project LiveWire is specifically designed for the purpose of getting insight into rider expectations of an electric Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
