2012 Harley-Davidson FLSTC Heritage Softail Classic, ABS/Security - The 2012 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic motorcycle FLSTC is fully equipped with modern touring capabilities and even has a removable motorcycle windshield. New for 2012, the Harley Heritage Softail Classic features a powerful, new, larger air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive tranmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and lugagge. Enjoy mile after mile with a large capacity 5-gallon Softail fuel tank. The Softail tank is also dripping with authentic Harley-Davidson style. The Harley FLSTC has full length rider footboards with rubber vibration isolation for added comfort. The Hydra-Glide name celebrates its 75th anniversary, dating back to the first hydraulic fork that was equipped to a Harley-Davidson, replacing the springer front end in 1949, while the “slash” fuel tank design, emblem, classic round air filter cover, two-toned windshield, seat, and cases, are all nods to the 1956 FLH. Thu, 16 Mar 2023Another leaked image reveals more secrets A couple of days ago, we were tipped off by Harley-Davidson blogger Dr. Dan Morel about photos of an alleged new CVO Road Glide and CVO Street Glide taken from the factory floor. Morel has since sent us another photo, offering a clear look at the CVO Road Glide’s right side, including evidence that the new 121ci engine uses variable valve timing.
US Highland Making a Comeback
Thu, 13 Oct 2011US Highland appears to be making a comeback, announcing plans to begin processing new orders and having discussions with several OEMs for the use of the Oklahoma company’s powertrains. The Tulsa-based company did not mention which OEMs it is working with, though US Highland says the discussions could result in sales of over 20,000 units per year. The company is developing fuel injected V-Twin engines in 750cc, 950cc and 1050cc displacements and Singles in 350cc, 450cc and 507cc displacements.
