2012 Harley-Davidson FLHTCU Ultra Classic Electra Glide, FLHTCU Ultra Classic Electra Glide - The 2012 Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide FLHTCU provides touring style with many upgrades, including a Harley motorcycle sidecar. New for 2012, the Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide features a powerful, new, larger air-cooled Twin Cam 103 Harley engine with 6-speed cruise drive tranmission, providing more performance power for passing, hill-climbing, and riding with passenger and lugagge. The Harley Ultra Classic Electra Glide offers two types of motorcycles wheels. The optional motorcycle wheels offered on the Ultra Classic Electra Glide can give this bike a different look so be sure to check them out in the Paint & Wheels section. 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring Lineup Updated with Project Rushmore Enhancements
Mon, 19 Aug 2013Harley-Davidson announced a number of updates to its touring models, a cumulative result of a product development effort the company dubs Project Rushmore. The enhancements cover several areas, addressing performance, comfort, style and infotainment needs, and will be implemented across eight 2014 Harley-Davidson Touring models: the Road King, Street Glide, Street Glide Special, Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the Tri-Glide Ultra Classic trike and the CVO Road King and CVO Limited. “Project RUSHMORE has been touched by thousands of people, most of them being our customers and our employees,” says Scott Habegger, Harley-Davidson Director of Motorcycle Planning.
Motorcycle Thefts Down 11.2% in 2010
Wed, 21 Sep 2011Motorcycle thefts in the U.S. are down for the fourth consecutive year in 2010, according to a report from the National Insurance Crime Bureau. There were 49,791 reported motorcycle thefts in 2010, an 11.2% drop from the 56,093 thefts reported in 2009.
