Harley-Davidson Financial Services to Refund $228,000 in Settlement

Harley-Davidson Financial Services agreed to reimburse more than 600 customers in Massachusetts a total of $228,000 to resolve a dispute over refunding enrollment fees on loans. Customers receiving financing occasionally pay optional enrollment fees for additional special loan terms. If a customer pays off its financing loan ahead of schedule, they may be entitled to a pro-rated refund on those enrollment fees.

Watching the promo videos that Harley-Davidson puts out does get me pumped.  Harley does however really seem to reinforce the stereotype of a typical Harley rider, I’m not sure if I am cool enough but the new Sportster Forty-Eight looks great!  Harley could use some positive feedback after they announced their Q4 results… Get the Flash Player to see this player. Harley-Davidson Reports Q1 2013 Results

Harley-Davidson reported 15.9%  increase in motorcycle revenue despite selling 9.1% fewer motorcycles over the first quarter of 2013. According to the company’s first quarter 2013 report, Harley-Davidson recorded revenues of $1.15 billion from motorcycle sales, compared to $995.9 million in the same quarter of 2012. At the same time, Harley-Davidson sold 54,254 motorcycles worldwide over the first quarter, down from 59,677 motorcycles in the same period last year.
